About the venue
Hoeve Zellij is a dairy farm that stayed in the same family for three generations, until owner Yasmina Zerhouni had the old milking barn converted into an event space seven years ago. The timber beams stayed in place, but the walls around the doorways gained hand-cut zellij tile, and the meadow beside it became a rose garden with a pergola for the ceremony. The contrast between farmyard and Moroccan tilework is exactly why couples come to see it.
The barn seats 80 to 160 guests, plenty for an engagement party or a smaller wedding, and Yasmina will set up a mechoui oven on the yard for guests who prefer to cook outside. She usually replies within two days, works with a fixed local halal caterer, and offers free parking right on the farmyard.
