About the venue
Hoeve Sahar-e-Sabz is the largest of the Afghan family farms around Almere, named after the green morning mist that settles over the orchard every early morning. Manager Ahmad Sahar expanded the original barn twelve years ago with a permanent marquee on the adjoining field, so the largest weddings never have to be split across two locations.
The combined barn and marquee hold 200 to 400 guests, and Ahmad usually replies within three days. He arranges deg cooking at scale, a prayer room with wudu facilities next to the marquee, and a dance floor large enough for the attan dance with dozens of guests at once. Free parking for all cars and a sound system with no curfew are included as standard.
