About the venue
Het Kleine Huis van Nasrin is a nineteenth-century townhouse in Assendorp that the current owner inherited from her parents and slowly converted into a private wedding venue: one living room as the reception space, a small dining room for dinner, and a fenced back garden for the ceremony itself. There is deliberately no large hall, which suits a small nikah among close family.
Owner Nasrin Popal handles the styling herself, from flowers to a simple takht seat for the couple, and usually replies within a day. There is room for 20 to 45 guests, the kitchen is fully halal and alcohol-free, and a quiet upstairs room serves as the bridal suite.
