About the venue
Hal Anatolia Werkspoor was part of the former Werkspoor factory where locomotives were built until the 1970s, and the hall now available for hire is one of the few in the district where the original crane rails still run along the ceiling. The height of the space, over twelve metres, allows for decor that would hit the ceiling in most other halls.
Events manager Kerem Doğan, who worked in Istanbul's events industry before moving to Utrecht, usually replies within two days and has experience running weddings for up to 500 guests split across a main reception and a separate hall for a henna night the day before. There's no curfew, an in-house halal kitchen, and a prayer room set up temporarily in one of the side rooms.
