About the venue
Gouden Halve Maan is the largest hall in this list: three fully separate halls, each with its own entrance, kitchen and sound system, under one roof in Amsterdam-Zuidoost. That makes it possible for a Turkish wedding with gelin yolu and a Moroccan wedding with neggafa and amariya to run side by side the same night without either noticing the other.
Each hall seats 340 to 500 guests, and all three run fully alcohol-free with their own halal kitchen. Operations manager Fatima Ouazzani coordinates scheduling across the three halls and usually replies within one day. A prayer room, wudu facilities and free parking for the whole complex are available to every hall, along with a sound system with no curfew.
