About the venue
Feestboot IJveer is built around one idea: a dance floor that loses nothing in atmosphere for being on the water. The main deck comes with a fixed lighting rig and a DJ booth permanently installed in the ship, and it follows a standard loop across the IJ during the party so guests see both Amsterdam-Noord and the city centre pass by.
The ship holds 120 to 300 guests split across the main deck and a quieter outer deck for anyone wanting a break from the music. Event manager Ruben de Wit runs a fixed hospitality crew on board, arranges the permits for music running deep into the night, and usually replies within one day. A full sound system, a large bar, and a cloakroom are all included as standard.
