About the venue
Fabriekshal Marmara occupies one of the old Philips halls on Strijp-S, where light bulbs were manufactured until the 1970s. The factory hall is a shell: concrete floor, a row of cast-iron columns down the middle, and windows running up to the ceiling, with no fixed layout pushing a family toward one particular style.
The hall seats 250 to 450 guests, splittable with a temporary partition wall for, say, a private nikah. Event manager Burak Aksoy has worked with Turkish and Moroccan couples for ten years and puts together a quote within a day, including a halal caterer of choice. Large-scale kitchen facilities, free parking for 150 cars, and a sound system with no decibel limit come with every booking.
