About the venue
Fabriekshal De Zilverfabriek made cutlery and serving trays until 2015 on the Konijnenberg business park, and the new owners have deliberately changed little about the building: white walls, a concrete floor that was polished rather than replaced, and large steel-framed windows that let in plenty of daylight. There's no fixed decor, which makes the hall popular with couples who want to style it themselves rather than rent a ready-made palace look.
Events manager Elif Kaplan works with a fixed list of three regional halal caterers but also allows outside caterers, and usually replies within one day. The hall is fully alcohol-free, has a separate bridal suite, and offers room for both a nikah and a following reception in the same space with a simple change of layout.
