About the venue
De Wielewaal Schuur is a fruit orchard near Amersfoort where the golden orioles, bright yellow songbirds, return every spring to nest, and the barn beside it is named after those same birds. The orchard serves as the ceremony spot under the canopy, with the barn as a fallback once the weather turns.
Owner Bram Kuiper, who usually replies within three days, rents the barn as a shell: no fixed caterer, no house bar, but a warm-up kitchen and a large outdoor spot for a barbecue of your own. The venue suits 65 to 120 guests, with early setup and free parking on the grounds.
