About the venue
De Stille Tuinkamer is an attached room at a private house in Haarlem, with glass walls looking out onto the garden and space for no more than 35 to 60 guests. The room is officially registered as a location for performing a civil marriage, so the ceremony itself can be legally held here without a trip to the town hall.
Host Marieke van Loon, who usually replies within two days, rents the garden room out exclusively per day and lets guests bring their own caterer. In good weather the glass walls slide open onto the garden, and in rain the room itself stays dry and fully usable.
