About the venue
De Lotusveste is built as a modular hall that switches within a few hours from a Western reception layout with round tables to a mandap setup with a raised stage and a walkway in front of it. That flexibility mainly draws couples celebrating a mixed wedding, with a civil ceremony on one day and a mandap ceremony on another.
The hall seats 140 to 240 guests, has its own kitchen set up for both Western cooking and deg cooking, and works with in-house catering or an outside caterer of their choice. Events manager Ricardo Autar usually replies within three days and speaks Hindoestani and Dutch.
