About the venue
De Linde Schuur is a former cattle barn on a farmyard south of Nijmegen, converted into one atmospheric space for couples who want a real venue without a large reception. The original timber frame has been left intact, and the linden tree standing in front gives the barn both its name and its shade for a short outdoor ceremony.
The space is deliberately kept small, from 40 guests, which means no fixed programme but full freedom for a private day: your own caterer, your own music, no time pressure from a party booked after yours. Owner Marieke van Dongen knows every couple who marries here by name and usually replies within a day.
