About the venue
De Linde Nikahzaal is a converted coach house behind the mosque garden on Lindeplein, chosen by couples who don't want a big hall but do want a place where the nikah and a small reception fit into one afternoon. The lime tree in the courtyard gives the hall its name, and the garden gets pulled into the party whenever the weather allows.
Manager Fatima Willemsen, who has served as a marriage officiant within the community for twelve years, usually replies the same day and helps plan a compact schedule for families short on time. The hall runs fully alcohol-free, has an all-female team available for the bridal suite, and works with a regular halal caterer that also handles smaller numbers.
