About the venue
De Hazelhoeve is a small, still-working hazel-coppice farm just outside Arnhem, where rows of hazel are cut for baskets and poles and the path between them doubles as the ceremony route. Guests follow the couple into the woods to a clearing where the ceremony takes place, and the reception itself happens in the small barn beside the yard.
Seating 40 up to around 90, this is one of the smallest venues on this list, aimed at couples who want a woodland ceremony without a big production around it. Forester and owner Willem Tenkink, who usually replies within two days, keeps the offer deliberately narrow: no in-house kitchen, but a rain plan with tarps strung between the trees and free parking on the yard.
