About the venue
De Gouden Anker sits on the Wolwevershaven in Dordrecht, with its own jetty right at the door where the couple can moor a sloop or saloon boat while guests already wait by the water. The restaurant itself has large windows over the water and a terrace that opens up to the hall in good weather.
The hall seats 110 guests and runs its own kitchen, so the menu is entirely handled by the restaurant. Owner Peter Vermeulen, who usually replies within four days, can also arrange boat transport for the couple from a jetty further along the harbour. Wheelchair accessible, with a bar over the water and live music into the late hours.
