About the venue
De Blauwe Golf is a lake cruiser that departs from the jetty near Almere onto the Gooimeer, with the ceremony itself held on the open sundeck while the boat is underway. Instead of a fixed hall, the backdrop shifts through the day: calm water at departure, open views of the lake during dinner, and the Almere skyline on the return as evening falls.
The boat seats 70 to 140 guests and has its own galley for dinner, with a bartender on board for the reception drinks. Captain and host Jeroen Visser usually replies within one day and times the cruising route to match the ceremony. In bad weather the party moves to the covered lower deck.
