About the venue
Dar Al Inshirah began as an idea during Friday prayers: the mosque had no suitable space for weddings, and for three years families from the neighbourhood chipped in to build the hall behind the prayer house. The result is modest but warm, with a ceiling full of hand-carved wooden patterns made by a volunteer from Tetouan.
The hall seats 60 to 140 guests in one rectangular room with its own kitchen. Manager Rachid Amrani knows most families personally, usually replies within a day, and can arrange a free tasting dinner for the bride and her mother on request. No alcohol is served, the prayer room is reachable via a short corridor, and street parking is free on weekends.
