About the venue
Boerderij Dar Al Bahja, "house of joy", is a fruit farm where the apple trees still bear fruit next to the barn converted into a wedding venue twelve years ago. The orchard stays in use as a walking area between the ceremony and dinner, and a tiled patio with a fountain at its centre is the fixed spot for the couple's sunset photos.
Manager Hamza Idrissi runs the farm together with his sister and holds 120 to 260 guests, split between the barn and a marquee on the lawn for larger parties. He usually replies within three days and will set up a mechoui oven among the trees on request. The kitchen is fully halal, parking on the yard is free, and in case of rain everything shifts smoothly under cover.
