About the venue
Amaan Trouwzaal began as an extension of the mosque on the Kalverringdijk, but the board chose not to make the hall bigger than it needed to be; instead, all the attention went into the bridal suite, with its own make-up corner, a mirrored wall, and seating for close family during the dressing. The party hall itself stays deliberately intimate, so the couple can actually speak with everyone who is there.
The hall suits 90 to 160 guests and runs a fully female team on the day itself, from stylist to service staff. Owner Sanne Kuiper handles the planning personally and usually replies within a day; she works with both halal catering and a traditional Dutch hapjesbuffet, depending on the couple’s wishes. Free parking and a separate entrance for the bridal car are included.
