About the venue
Al-Iman Events sits beside the Al-Iman cultural centre in Utrecht and is built the other way around from a typical party hall: the nikah and henna night come first, the reception second — no bar anywhere, but a prayer room with wudu facilities off the main hall. Staff speak Arabic, Darija and Turkish, serving Turkish, Moroccan and Somali celebrations.
The larger hall comfortably seats over two hundred guests, suited to a buraanbur or henna night as easily as the nikah itself, and both in-house catering and an outside caterer bringing their own dishes are welcome. Booking coordinator Sahra Ibrahim usually replies within a day, and female staff are available on request. Budgets here typically land under roughly €7,500 for the full booking, prayer room and catering option included.
