About the venue
Al Ihsan Cultureel Centrum began as an annex to the mosque on the Guisweg and quickly became the place couples came to when they wanted both a legal and a religious wedding without needing a large hall. The centre is kept deliberately small: one room that shifts from prayer space to ceremony room to party floor, so a party of sixty never feels lost in an oversized hall.
The hall suits 60 to 120 guests and keeps a separate room for the registrar, so the civil ceremony and the nikah can share the same day. Coordinator Marloes Dekker often arranges that liaison with the municipality herself and usually replies within a day; outside catering is allowed alongside the in-house kitchen on request. Free parking and a quiet inner courtyard for photos come with the booking.
