About the venue
Al Fath Feestzaal is the largest of the three buildings on the mosque grounds on the Communicatieweg, and was deliberately designed for families celebrating not one evening but an entire weekend: a henna night, a nikah and a reception can all take place on the same grounds, each in its own hall. The three spaces combine via sliding walls into one large hall for the biggest parties.
The hall suits 250 to 450 guests and has two separate entrances, so a separate prayer service and the party never cross paths. Venue manager Bram Hendriks runs a fixed eight-person team and usually replies within two days; he personally coordinates between the imam and the DJ so evening prayer never has to interrupt the party. Free parking for hundreds of cars, a sound system with no curfew, and an in-house commercial kitchen are all part of the standard set-up.
